have type 2 diabetes; and have been on a strict ketogenic low carb diet. ques: is it safe to eat up to 8 eggs a day in terms of ldl?

No : Would get cholesterol levels checked. Diabetes is a risk factor for heart disease. Too many eggs can cause a rise in your cholesterol levels which may put you at further risk.

It does not : Need to be ketogenic in my view. Sugar is the villain and you do need a supplement of vitamin b1 + magnesium + multivitamin. It has recently been shown that diabetics excrete a lot of vitamin b1 in urine so it is important to replace it.
