Unrelated: I'd doubt that your current symptoms are related to fluticasone whether shaken or stirred. It appears that you may have developed a sinus infection. See your doctor to find out if you need an antibiotic or not. Usually I would wait about 10 days before prescribing an abx unless the symptoms are getting worse by the day.

A 38-year-old member asked:
I just had a sonogram at 6 weeks 2 days pregnant and the tech said I had a corpus luteum cyst on my ovary. What is this? Is it normal? Especially, if I have had a miscarriage (due to a partial molar pregnancy) and one healthy baby.?

Normal: The corpus luteum is the cyst in the ovary where ovulation occurred. It is an important source of hormonal support to the early pregnancy. This is a normal, healthy finding.

What is severe headaches cold feet chills tremors then vomiting light headed sweating neck pain?

Can be a big problem: Severe headaches, accompanied by neck pain, could be a type of meningitis (serious infection around the spinal cord and/or brain), although the real flu can cause similar symptoms. Cold feet, chills, and tremors occur when fever is rising; sweating happens when fever is dropping. Light-headedness and vomiting make it all more worrisome. A trip to the doctor is needed to evaluate these symptoms.

Pain in legs & hips head aches and indigestion lack of energy all started since I quit drinking are these normal symtoms?

Temporarily: (obviously more information needed) how long ago did you quit drinking, and how much were you drinking? Overall stopping drinking is good for your health, but there are acute withdrawal symptoms, as your body adjusts. Think back how you felt any given morning after a drunk night. Not so good probably, symptoms would be relieved by alcohol's putting you back in semi-stupor. Break that cycle!

This cannot wait: Symptoms of headache and dizziness accompanied by rising blood pressure and swelling can be associated with preeclampsia. That can be a problem for the pregnant woman and her baby, especially if preterm. Calling an OB doctor is what is recommended even at night, especially if the local nursery cannot provide care for a premature baby in case delivery is needed. If alone or cannot reach OB call 911.

A 42-year-old member asked:
I'm sick and I have a fever, sore throat , barking cough, and a head ache. Will OTC meds work for this?

Depends...: If the fever is low-grade, then you probably have a virus which will run its course in a few days to week. In that case, symptom control is the treatment and some otc meds can help. On the other hand, if your fever is higher, you likely have a bacterial infection which will respond to antibiotics. See your doctor for specific diagnosis and treatment.
