Not from toilets: Recurrent UTI is a common problem in some women, but has nothing to do with using public toilets. Recurrent UTI comes from within: affected women carry the causative bacteria, often inthe vagina. Sometimes sex is responsible for triggering recurrences, by massaging vaginal bacteria into the urethra. Treatment often can prevent repeat it. Discuss with doctor. But don't worry about public toilets!
