Groin surgery: Immediately. As long as your pain is controlled, you are not lifting anything heavy. You can travel as soon as you feel up to it.

Ask your surgeon: Usually want to heal & see your surgeon to determine the degree of healing after surgery first, before doing long distance traveling. May want to wait for a few weeks. But best determination is from your own personal surgeon.
