i'm a 40 year old female who seems to no longer grow hair on her legs or arm pits. what could be the cause?

Get checked: Thyroid problems can cause loss of hair. So can other medical conditions. See your doc for an exam and appropriate testing. Stop alcohol, if you drink more than 4 drinks a week. Stop smoking, too.
