rash on upper, outer right arm that started out as cluster of bumps (about size of nickel). now it has spread all around arm & on both arms now?

Allergic dermatitis: Given that the rash has spread to both arms, that rules out herpes/ shingles. If itchy, try OTC cortisone twice a day and oatmeal baths. Aveen w blue cap as Often as you wish for itching. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) pills OTC as needed for itch.
