Lots of hints:: Force fluids: 8-10 glasses of electrolyte rich fluids/day. Call physician for Tamiflu (oseltamivir) Rx if highly symptomatic. Use OTC AdvII or Aleve for muscle pain if not allergic. et a formal influenza test.

Many options: Unfortunately Western medicine has little to offer ; the main drug used, Tamiflu, only helps a bit if started within 24 hours, is expensive and has many side effects so to me is not worth it. However, high doses of Vitamin C, herbs like Elderberry extract, Lomatium, Andrographis, Astragalus, oregano oil and homeopathic medicines can all be helpful.
