OCD: OCD may have a strong organic component. The fact that SSRIs can often so well manage the symptoms points that direction. You don't have to have had a trauma history, and I have seen it run in families. But it CAN be managed and you can lead a good life. Please talk to an experienced Psychologist for a full interview and they can determine what else may be important. Trauma history may overlap
