for years have globus sensation in throat and can cough up mucus but it's still there, reflux no heartburn and sometimes can't fill lungs. causes?

Globus etc: Hi MelaniH~ you have REFLUX which is the central issue, because GE reflux while recumbent can cause gastric fluid to enter the esophagus and spill into the lungs. This will give you irritation in the esophagus and cause globus sensation and can cause irritable airways and lower respiratory obstruction witth asthma symptoms. See your doc. See a GI doc. get lung functions done, start asthma meds thx
