Not necessary : If you always start your new pack on a Sunday then the last pill in the pack (Saturday) is a placebo pill, meaning it has no medication. Missing the last placebo pill will not decrease the contraception effectiveness as long as you start the new pack on time. Plan B is not needed during this pack if you don't miss any of the active pills.
