The "best way" is...: ...Different for different people. Sorry if that's not the answer you want. All weight loss methods have one thing in common: the all involve decreasing the number of calories you eat (diet) and increasing the number of calories you burn (exercise). There are no magic pills (there are, but they don't work...Ever). Without diet and exercise changes, you will remain over weight.

Weight loss: Eating a nutrient filled diet which is comprised of multiple small meals a day (5 to 6 normally). Make sure to take a vitamin supplement and space those small meals no more than 2 to 3 hours apart. Go heavier on the protein and less fats and carbs. Avoiding processed foods, fake sugars and soda also helps. Don't forget to exercise daily!

Diet and exercise: The healthiest way to lose weight is a healthy well balanced diet and regular exercise. Cut out all sodas and drink water instead. For snacks dont eat sugar filled cookies and such, instead opt for healthy snacks such as fruits, vegetables or even different kind of nuts which can also give you some energy. Get 7-8 hours of sleep at night which is important. Dont eat upto 2 hours before bedtime.

Keep it simple: Just do one thing to shift your life and keep your commitment - it could be a commitment to walk daily or join one weight loss program and staying with the program. Any program works if you are commited. The 2 programs i like - control-it by biotics or p90x for people who like workout.
