Likely anxiety: Based on the brief history, difficulties could be panic-related. Individuals experiencing anxiety tend not to breath from the diaphragm and breath more shallow - which often exacerbates anxiety/panic symptoms. Are you receiving treatment for anxiety/panic, including behavioral techniques that may help improve breathing? Would recommend followup with your provider to rule in/out respiratory issues.

Check with your doc: This may be a lot of things. Even pulmonary embolism could do this. Better check with your doc. Hopefully it is nothing to worry about. Good luck.
