Suggest seeing a psychiatric nurse practitioner who prescribes controlled substances--their rates are excellent. Learn anti-anxiety methods--choose from meditation, Yoga, cognitive behavior therapy, Tai Chi, meditation, and psychological consult, so you may rid your need for xanax (which has been shown over the years to cause cognitive harm)

Meds: call your MD he is the only one who can refill these meds Since some of these meds are controlled medicines they can only be given when due not before

Call doctor: You have hypertension and kidney disease and are switching to new doc on Aug 27. Call doctor who last wrote your Rx and explain situation. S/he will probably want to see you before refilling meds - especially Xanax (alprazolam) and Percocet. Good luck.
