Jojoba oil and acne: Any sort of oils applied to acne-prone skin can actually make acne worse. Oils can also contribute to overgrowth of a yeast that lives in the hair follicles, called malassezia furfur, which can cause more facial eruptions. It is best to use oil-free and non-comedogenic products for acne.
