i have lower back pain from constant bending and twisting at work. only thing that helps is rent. is this likely a strain/sprain?

If the pain: is localized to low back and you have no other symptoms, most likely cause is muscle strain. If you continue your bending and twisting without strengthening your back muscles, you can get more serious problems. Ask your doctor or physical therapist for suggestions, and your employer for work modification.
