have had "really" dark green stools 4 2 days. been fighting a bad cold 4 2 wks, but also diagnosed w/gastritis yrs ago. stool color cause 4 concern?:(

Green stool: Occasional green stool color is normal, usually due to passage through the digestive tract with some degree of rapidity such that bile is incompletely metabolized (which contributes the brown color). Diet high in leafy greens can also cause this. Or iron supplementation.
