Probably normal: This doesn't sound abnormal. At age 16 you're just learning, but in mature men one testicle almost always hangs lower (usually the left, but it can be either one). If testicular torsion (twisted sperm cord) you would be in escrutiating pain and would need to see a urologist immediately for emergency surgery. If no pain, probably no problem. But ask your doctor next time you're in the office.
