See below: After examining the lump in your neck with an ultrasound, the ordering physician believes it to be an enlarged lymph node or less likely an abnormal growth of parathyroid gland. The ct scan will differentiate these 2 causes and help to visualize other nearby lymph nodes. Hope this helps!
