Liver function: Liver function abnormalities are broad. There are many causes beyond a viral hepatitis. If persistent look at medications as causes, including over the counter vitamins, then alcohol as a cause, then genetic causes depending on your ethnicity. A hepatologist is a specialist in liver disease.
