Neck pain & stiff: Hello. Facet joints are responsible for allowing you to comfortably turn your head from side to side and extend it. You may benefit from a short course of oral steroids (7 days) or Toradol (5 days if your PCP approves) to reduce pain and stiffness in your neck.
Have you undergone any PT or chiropractic treatment? These may also be beneficial to get the function of your neck back under control.
