I had an endoscope and colonoscopy last week. afterwards my doctor told me that i have gerd and food stuck in my stomach. heard this before?

Yes: GERD- it's heartburn. Food stuck in your stomach can be couple of things, may be he means gastoparesis- like lazy stomach, and you still had food in there during the procedure after you were supposed to be fasting for 8 hrs. People with diabetes get it. Really we need more details of the report to know for sure what doctor saw.
