Aortic regurgitation: Surgery for aortic regurgitation is necessary when there is large volume of regurgitation and left ventricular dilation and perhaps degradation of LV function. Sometimes there are additional indications. Best second opinion course is seeing another cardiologist and having all your data available for that doctor. An online consultation isn't necessarily the best source for that.
