Insulin: Metformin is one of the most effective medication for blood sugar. I'm not sure what your current dose is, but the maximum dose for Metformin is 2550mg per day. If you are tolerating Metformin, perhaps your Dr can increase your dose. Otherwise insulin would be your best bet if you are having trouble keeping your sugar under control with multiple diabetes medication.
