what would cause me to have severe full scale body tremours that would last several minutes, cease and then start up again? i had to stay overnight.

Seizures: Ask the doctors who treated you overnight what was the cause of the seizures. One of my patients became dehydrated and had electrolyte imbalance low potassium and had a seizure. Another patient had a problem with the electrical system in the brain and had seizures. You need to find out more details.
