what would cause pins and needles sensation on one side of my face and the top of my left foot. there is also occasional "foot lock" . no hx of trauma?

Nerve pain: You need to be evaluated. The symptoms you describe are consistent with nerve problems which can range from very serious to very minor so best to get evaluated by the MD ASAP.
