What thyroid med?: Depends on the thyroid med. If your thyroid is normal, and you took a moderate dose of levothyroxine, your thyroid would shut down and you would not get hyper since the hormone replacement takes over. A normal thyroid would then recover if you stopped the drug. If you took methimazole, it would probably make you hypothyroid. However, a normal thyroid would prob recover after drug withdrawal.
