my girlfriend was diagnosed w/ leukemia lymphoma yrs ago and has been cancer free since august. she's now 27. what's the likelihood of it returning?

Very low: I'm glad she got a good result. Teen leukemia / lymphoma recurs in a few years if it's going to recur. She may be at risk for some other tumor because of chemotehrapy or radiation depending what kind she received. However, this is a relatively small risk and there's no reason you shouldn't enjoy your time together, knowing that life is never certain and should be precious, long or short.
