CORRECT USE: With correct use, condoms can provide effective birth control.That requires proper sizing, it should be snug in use. If it slips when erect, its likely to fail. It should also be applied before any intercourse, as any secretions from an excited penis contain sperm. HPV by itself does not preclude use of the pill, but using a barrier helps limit transmission.

HPV: hpv does not keep you from getting the pill. HPV is an std and you should be using a condom for your protection as well as your partners. The pill and condoms will increase your chance of NOT getting pregnant.
