Relax/sleep/avoid st: You can prevent muscle cramps be relaxing, getting enough sleep, avoid stress and overuse of muscle, yoga and keep in a good physical shape.Avoid nicotine, overuse of alcohol, eat healthy treatment consists of rest, relaxation, message and physical therapy and if it is because of a systemic disease, treat the cause.Symptomatic relief with muscle relaxants and anti inflammatory pain meds.
