Many: Aids is a virus that attacks the immune protection system of the body. Aids victims can get more infections, especially uncommon ones including an unusual one called kaposis sarcoma. They are weakened, frequently lose weight, and when untreated almost any part of the body is at risk. Current therapy can now attenuate this problem and in the 1st world it is now a chronic, not deadly illness.

Loss of immunity...: Aids results from infection with hiv, and symptoms of aids are related to decreased immune system function. Some symptoms include infections (like oral thrush and pneumonia) as well as unwanted weight loss. Some people with untreated HIV can present with aids defining illnesses that are malignancies such as kaposis sarcoma and lymphoma. Every patient is unique.

AIDS symptoms: AIDS is a dangerous disease, because after the initial infection with HIV-1, there can be few to no symptoms until the infection progresses. It works by damaging the immune system, increasing the risk of common infections like tuberculosis, and opening the door to opportunistic infections such as toxoplasmosis, cryptococcosis, PCP, bacterial infections, and a host of others. Cancers too can arise

AIDS: Depends on how long someone has been infected but could be like flu symptoms. It is recommended to have an HIV blood test done if you are sexually active.
