BRAT diet not needed: The BRAT diet (usually Banana, Rice, Applesauce and Toast (or Tea)) has very limited data to support this diet as a treatment for diarrhea. Also, if a person is very strict with the "BRAT" restrictions, they might not get enough energy from fat and protein. Weakness and chills could warrant a re-check
