on 2nd day of 6 steroids for bronchitis. zero lung tightness, just can't seem to cough up stuff. was wondering if i can take mucinex (guaifenesin) and would that help?

Mucolytic: Many patients have trouble coughing up phlegm and mucolytics such as a gaufinesin (mucinex) are definitely a good option. Other patients experience relief from humidified air- best of luck.
