just got diagnosed with a small anterior fibroid, i've been told i have to go back for some type of endometrius test. what is that?

Unsure.: I would have your doctor clarify why he/she is doing the testing. Fibroids in general don't require additional testing other than periodic observation with repeat ultrasound.
If you were diagnosed on exam then your doctor may be having you follow up with an ultrasound
