In front of ears...: Put your fingers in your ears and open and close your mouth. What you feel moving by your fingers is the side of the TM Joint (TMJ)

Near ear opening: If you put your index fingertips in your ear canals and then slide them forward just out of the canals you will be on/near the joints. If you then open/close, you will feel them move. If you go side to side with your lower jaw you will feel how they move differently at the same time. Have fun !

TMJ location: The TMJ is found anteriorly to the tragus of the ear.

In front of ear: Immediately in front of the ear. put your finger there and open and close, you'll feel it move.

Cause of headache: The best way to tackle a headache is to figure out what's causing it in the first place - is it a migraine, from not eating breakfast this am, from skipping a dose of a medicine, from not getting enough sleep? There can be many reasons. For the run of the mill dull headache, i usually like to try some Ibuprofen and/or tylenol (acetaminophen) first and see how it feels after an hour or so.
