I was prescribed muscadol for a muscle spasm. is it safe to take with zyrtec (cetirizine)? i can't be off zyrtec (cetirizine) for more than a day. thanks

Likely ok: You should always exercise caution when taking medications like sleeping pills, sedatives, and muscle relaxants like Muscadol with first-generation antihistamines like Benadryl (diphenhydramine). Second-generation antihistamines, like Zyrtec, (cetirizine) are non-sedating and are less likely to interact with these types of medications but you should still proceed carefully.

Zyrtec is not entirely non-sedating since it does cause drowsiness in about 10% of the patients. I do agree that the combination is likely ok.
