above my left hip i have a sharp shooting pain that worsens when i move. my left abdomen is swollen too. i am having regular bowel movements.

CT of Abdomen: Pain when you move indicates muscle irritation. There are some abdominal muscle attach to hip. Psoas muscle is one. With abdominal swelling you need to be sure if there is no inflammation on the muscle.
