Need progesterone: Hello Janet,
I think that it would be wise to see a Gynecologist. When women do not ovulate then they do not produce the hormone Progesterone in sufficient amounts to balance the hormone Estrogen. Over time this could cause problems. A gynecologist can monitor this situation and may suggest adding Progesterone from time to time.
