Only 1 way to know: Hi. Given that you have schizophrenia and anxiety disorder, your symptoms could easily have nothing to do with your thyroid. However, there is really only one way to find out...have your TSH and free T4 tested. Abnormal thyroid function is more likely if you have a family history of thyroid disease or if you have certain autoimmune conditions. Get tested for peace of mind. Good luck!
