A 22-year-old female asked:
if a panic attack reaches its peak usually in 15 mins does that mean if we can wait it out and fight it, we will feel calm again? without meds?

Yes: Panic attacks resolve themselves. So even though they seem like a medical emergency when they happen, you don't actually need to do anything for them to go away. It is important that you know this so that you don't panic about panic attacks and end up allowing them to control your life.
