Many benefits!: For one, we feel weightless in water. Our joints take less impact, so it can be a wonderful substitute for walking if you have joint trouble or if you struggle with overweight. Also, exercise in water requires that we exercise against the resistance of the water. Beyond this, many people find the warmth of the water soothing to muscles and joints. It's a great sleep aid, if done in the evening!
