tkr right 23/01/2012.knee area still painful + slightly swollen.taking xefo8 anti flam.helps.rom reached is 90degrees.when half squatting 100 deg.can rom be increased with further exercise.

Yes, more work: I tell my patients they can improve motion and decrease pain for up to one year post surgery. A stationary bike helps, 15 min 2x per day. Lower the seat gradually. Rolling stool also helpful. Place the foot flat on the floor, advance the stool until the knee is bent as much as possible, hold it the for 20 secs then push a little more. Walking program, 20 min per day. Good luck. I had my own.
