How high-risk? Why?: A thorough evaluation by a maternal-fetal medicine subspecialist looking at records, mom, fetus plus exams and input from OB provider might provide information about the risks to the health of mom and baby from exertion/exercise. That risk, however, can change in many cases from week to week. Therefore, combined exams and consults from both OB and mfm will be best for evaluating risk.

I agree you should get that recommendation from your personal physicians, who can continually monitor you and the baby. If they recommend NOT walking, see if it is ok to do some armchair exercising, and ask for recommendations on some exercises you can do. You might also be able to have massages or Osteopathic manipulation to help keep you comfortable and relaxed. Feel well, and stay healthy!

It depends: It depends on the nature of the high risk condition, but usually pregnant women are encouraged to walk during pregnancy.

Yes generally.: Only avoid this type of exercise in the following cases: baby not growing enough, blood pressure too high (or both), prone to falls, climate too hot or too cold for pregnancy, bedrest has been prescibed by physician. In all other cases half an hour of walking daily is a great advice for pregnant women!

May be hard to do...: People try to live and work in conditions that their bodies are able to adapt to, but sometimes that is not possible. A primary care doctor and a dermatologist can help prevent and treat recurrent heat rash (miliaria treatment). Keeping the skin surface intact, healthy, and normal is important. That means not rubbing the skin with rough clothes, or getting industrial chemicals on them.

Can be other causes: Dizziness with exercise doesn't just happen with inadequate hydration. If a person is well hydrated, and still gets dizzy, her doctor can evaluate. Sometimes there are circulation problems, such as not enough blood flow to the brain under certain conditions or activities. There can be heart problems, or not enough red blood cells (anemia), etc...
