UTI in men?: It is very difficult for a boy or a man to get a urinary tract infection. But if one does it is quite dramatic. The common symptoms are an urge to pee frequently, sometimes with a burning sensation when one does pee. Sometimes there is a feeling that one cannot fully empty the bladder when one has peed.
Stds in men can mimic utis...So if you have other symptoms then these please let me know.

Symptoms: Urinary infections in your age group are diagnosed by symptoms; mainly, burning/pain while urination. It is verified with tests on the urine itself, looking for things like the presence of nitrite producing bacteria or white cells in the urine. The diagnosis hinges on the symptoms; if you are otherwise asymptomatic, there is no need for treatment (except for very specific situations).

Bacteria + symptoms: A urinary tract infection (UTI) is when there is bacterial overgrowth in the bladder or kidneys. Symptoms include burning with urination, sometimes blood in the urine, low back pain, or nausea. Women get utis much more than men. Antibiotics are usually effective in eliminating the symptoms. Utis are diagnosed with a urine dipstick test and a culture.

Sometimes: It can be if it extends beyond the bladder and into the kidneys, or if it results in urosepsis (bacteria from the infection entering the bloodstream). This is more likely to occur in the elderly or immunosuppressed.
