Not Likely related: The herniated disks have nothing to do with a significant increase in stroke risk, if that is your question.

CVA: Brain stem is considerably higher than where you were injured. Brain stem stroke could be traumatic but more usually a vascular phenomenon. I note you are on warfarin, this would make you a little higher risk if involved in trauma.
