how to get rid of calus?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Scott Koppel
27 years experience Podiatry
Debridement: Callouses are caused by pressure. Trimming the callous with a pumice stone, ped-egg or having someone scrape the callous with a scalpel can help. Sometimes surgery for the underlying bone spur or boney prominence is necessary.
