i've been having a period for two weeks. what could be wrong? is this what ovulation feels like?

Not ovulation: Vaginal bleeding for two weeks is not normal. At age 49 it's likely you are not far from menopause, and hormonal fluctuations are common. Uterine fibroids or hyperplasia (abnormal thickening) of the uterine lining is also possible. Sounds like it's time to see your gynecologist.
