can/will a dentist also do fillings for cavities at the same time as wisdom tooth extraction surgery?

Usually not: We try not to do too much in one visit. The fillings should be done first so that when the extractions are done, no excess material gets in the extraction sites and no bleeding while trying to repair the other teeth, .

Talk to the dentist: Based on the location of the wisdom teeth and complexity of removal, you should have a consult on what to expect.
