how long should my tooth and jaw hurt after getting a filling?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Richard Kelner
8 years experience Dentistry
After: If a restoration hurts after a day or so call your doctor again and have them look at it. It could be deep and need a root canal or the filling might just need to be reduced in height because the tooth is hitting prematurely.
