i had surgery of internal hemorrhoids a month ago. can i take alcohol now ?

Sure: After hemorrhoid surgery, it is important to keep your stools soft and avoid straining at your bowel movements. Alcohol in moderation is probably ok, as long as it doesn't adversely affect your stools.

In Moderation: After one month, one would expect that any surgical wounds would have significantly healed. Drinking alcohol should not be a problem at this point. One should always check with their healthcare provider, in this case with the surgeon, for his or her permission to resume prior activities such as the use of alcohol. Good luck.
