PFO: Very difficult to advise you anything but to see someone to be evaluated. You should likely seek a free clinic or community health resource.
Dr. Fuad Kiblawi
Pediatric Cardiology 28 years experience
See doctor: A pfo does not cause any symptoms, so don't worry. Sharp chest pain is most likely not from the heart. Depends however on location and duration of pain...Etc. Palpitations if following the chest pain could be caused because of the pain or anxiety. So is the shortness of breath. Hard to tell from ur brief description. If ur symptoms are severe, recurrent or persistent better to get checked.
